Biography
Born in the family of a Greek father, in the second generation of a resident of Russia, and a Russian mother. In 1932 the family left for Greece. Kira quickly mastered the Greek language, which she knew worse than Russian and German. She graduated from a German school in Thessaloniki , then a tourist school. She worked as a guide, an employee of the professional training service. From the 70s she was engaged in literary activities.
Kira Sinu wrote prose - historical and adventure novels, mainly addressed to children of secondary school age, in total more than 20 books.
She translated into Greek more than 100 books, including from the Russian work of N. V. Gogol , L. N. Tolstoy , F. M. Dostoevsky , A. I. Solzhenitsyn , and Soviet children's writers. Translated from English, German and other languages.
