The action takes place in the futuristic 1996 year . People have improved technology and can now travel in space over long distances and have established bases on the Moon and Mars. Nevertheless, the cold war between the United States and the USSR did not stop, and now both sides staged a race to build new military facilities in outer space, so the threat of a nuclear conflict loomed over mankind from outer space.

In the meantime, a United Nations exchange program has been established on Mars to promote peace and understanding. So the Space Club of Culture is formed, consisting of 16 boys and girls. Once unknown robots attack the UN base and destroy it completely. Only six people survive from the space club: Elizabeth, Arthur, Ron, David, Simon and Anna.

Later it turns out that the robots belong to the alien civilization Gradoz from the constellation Udoria, who deliberately waited for the two superpowers (the USSR and the USA ) to weaken as an endless struggle between themselves in order to arrange an instant blitzkrieg on the ground and conquer it without unnecessary problems. And also because their super-computers calculated that in the future all conflicts would come to an end and humanity would unite. So people will quickly spread throughout the galaxy and will pose a serious threat to Gradoz.

However, even among the Gradozians there are opponents of the invasion plan: the space pilot Null Alberto, the son of a man and Gradozian, whose main goal is to warn humanity about the impending invasion. The same people who survived the invasion of Mars, the Gradozians begin to hunt, since they are the only ones who know about the invasion of aliens and can tell earthlings, thereby interrupting the Cold War for subsequent unification and preparation against alien invaders. The main characters must get out of Mars and get to Earth as quickly as possible.

Null Alberto / Eiji Asuka

He is a half-breed, the son of a human astronaut and a Graduzian woman from a noble family. He is a pilot of the lowest rank Gradoz SPT in his native empire, by nature a pacifist, but when he finds out about plans to invade the earth, he does not hesitate to decide by all means to save humanity. The youngest member of the Space Cultural Club (KKK). She is 14 years old. She is a very quiet and restrained girl, and at the same time very intuitive, thanks to which she can easily find a common language with other people. So she was the first to be friends with Eiji.

American. A very emotional, reckless and stubborn guy, which makes it difficult for him to cope with fear and new losses. He is 17. At first he did not trust and hated Eiji, accusing him of being guilty of the death of his best friend Yuno during the first raid by the Gradozians on the UN base. In the end, having gone through many trials with him, he begins to trust him.

Roan Demitrich

He is from Switzerland and is 15 years old. Roan is the most brilliant and sensible of the entire KKK team. Almost always remains calm and observant.
