It flows through the territory of the Vyshnevolotsky district . It flows into the Shegra river 26 km from its mouth on the right bank. The length of the river is 22 km, the catchment area is 90.2 km².

According to the state water register of Russia, it belongs to the Verkhnevolzhsky Basin District , the water sector of the river is Tvertsa from the source ( Vyshnevolotsky hydroelectric complex ) to the city of Tver , the river Volga river sub-basin to the Rybinsk reservoir.
