Martin Jellinghouse (born October 26, 1944, Lauf an der Pegnitz , Bavaria , Third Reich ) is a German athlete , sprinter , bronze medalist of the 1968 Olympic Games in the relay 4x400 meters. In 1968-1972, the European record holder at a distance of 400 m (44.9 s).

At the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City, the German national team won the bronze medal in the 4 × 400 m relay with Helmar Müller , Manfred Kinder and Gerhard Hennige . During games to support U.S. sprinters Tommy Smith and John Carlos , expelled from the U.S. team for anti-racism, wore the Olympic Human Rights Project badge on their chests.
