The 4th Parachute Brigade of Argentina (Br Parac IV) - ( Spanish: Brigada Paracaidista IV ) - a combination of the ground forces of Argentina. Specializes in airborne operations. Based in Cordoba , province of Cordoba . Along with the 1st tank and 10th mechanized brigades, it is included in the strategic reserve of the country's armed forces [2] . Argentina became the first country in South America to create airborne troops [3] . The equipment of Argentine paratroopers included helmets similar to the British [4] , the rest of the ammunition and equipment resembled the equipment of the German Fallschirmjägers [5] [6] [7] [8] .
