Gretchen Merrill ( born Gretchen Merrill ; November 2, 1925 , Boston , USA - April 22, 1965 , Windsor , Connecticut , USA ) - US figure skater , bronze medalist of the 1947 World Cup , silver medalist of the 1947 European Championship , six- time US champion 1943-1948 in the women's single skating , participant in the 1948 Olympics.
