Vyazhishche (station)

Vyazhishche - station (according to other sources - a junction) of the St. Petersburg branch of the October Railway . Located 2.4 km east of the village of Vyazhishchi in the Novgorod region of the Novgorod region , near the city limits of Veliky Novgorod .

It has two high platforms - island and side.

Acron's production facilities are located on the east side of the station. There was an access road to the Novgorod TPP in the northern neck of the station.

At the moment, the contact network is removed. It was previously electrified in the 1980s as part of the Novgorod-on-Volkhov -Vyazhishche section . It was originally an isolated electrified site. In December 1991, the Chudovo-Novgorod line was electrified (connecting it with the contact network of the main railway of the Oktyabrskaya Railway). Until approximately 1993, suburban electric trains ran between Novgorod and Vyazhishche, transporting mainly Akron chemical plant workers between the city and the enterprise. Later, their movement was closed due to low passenger traffic and loss ratio. ^{[2] [3]}
