Hedy Stenuf (married Byron) ( German: Hedy Stenuf ; July 18, 1922 , Vienna , Austria - November 7, 2010 , Holendale , Florida , USA ) - figure skater from Austria , who also played for France and the USA , silver medalist of the 1939 World Cup years, bronze medalist of the 1938 World Championships in women's single skating . Participant in the Winter Olympics in 1936 .

Hedi Stenuf became famous at the age of 11 after a tour of the United States in 1934, together with the famous Austrian skater Karl Schäfer . The following year, she took part in the World Cup, held in her hometown of Vienna, and made strong competition to the current champion Sonya Heny . At the 1936 Olympics, she took sixth place. In 1936 and 1937, Hedi Stenouf played for France, and in 1938 and 1939 for the United States. She also performed in pair skating , taking paired with Skippy Baxter second place in the US Championship in 1940.
