The Law of the Republic of Bashkortostan of 19.11.2008 N 49-z “On changes in the administrative and territorial structure of the Republic of Bashkortostan in connection with the merger of individual village councils and the transfer of settlements”, article 1, paragraph 19) b) read [2] :
"To introduce the following changes in the administrative-territorial structure of the Republic of Bashkortostan:
to unite the Sikyazsky and Ozersky village councils with the preservation of the name “Sikyazsky” with the administrative center in the village of Sikyaz. Include the village of Lake Ozerskogo village council in the Sikyazsky village council.
To approve the boundaries of Sikyazsky Village Council according to the presented schematic map.Exclude from the registration data Ozersky Village Council
