Dmitry Leonidovich Kuzelev (born November 1, 1969 , Kemerovo Region , USSR ) is a Russian handball player , Olympic champion in 2000, Honored Master of Sports (2000). He played for clubs in Russia, Germany, Denmark, Poland.

Biography
Parents come from Kuban. Born in the Kemerovo region, where his parents went to the Komsomol construction site. He returned with his parents to the Kuban at the age of 8 years, lived in Elizabethan . The first coach was Valery Zhitnikov, then he trained with Yuri Zaitsev . It was not possible to play in the native team, he was called up for military service in the fleet.
Silver medalist of the European Championship (2000). At the Olympics in Sydney (Australia, 2000) he won a gold medal as part of the Russian team.
