Biography
In 1968, in Herzen State Pedagogical Institute, he defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of historical sciences on the topic “Turkey at the final stage of the Eastern crisis of the 1820s. Adrianople World 1829 " [1] .
In 1986, at the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR he defended his thesis for the degree of Doctor of Historical Sciences on the topic “Ottoman Empire and Western European States. The second third of the XIX century "(specialty 07.00.03 -" General History ") [2] .
