Description

In the center of the shield of the coat of arms is a bird holding a golden yellow key. The background of the upper part of the coat of arms shield is made in the form of white-blue stripes, it depicts a mountain of blue color and the golden-yellow circle of the sun above it. The middle part of the shield is crossed by a wavy border. Against the green background of the lower part of the shield, a straight linear perspective of a blue road going to the horizon line is depicted.

Justification of Symbols

The bird holding the key (as a typical representative of the wildlife of Altai and the Maiminsky district) symbolizes the guard, the holder of the symbolic key. The key is a symbol of the entrance, discovery, beginning of Gorny Altai , the Altai Republic from the territory of the Mayminsky district. The mountain in the upper part of the coat of arms (has a blue color - a symbol of the pristine purity of the mountains), reflects the dominant landscape of the area. The circumference of the sun symbolizes eternity, warmth and light. The road going to the horizon symbolizes the Chuysky tract , emphasizes the richness of mountains and meadows. The white border in the middle of the shield symbolizes the Katun River , which carries its waters along the Chuysky tract. The green background of the lower part of the coat of arms represents the fields, meadows and fertility of the land in the area. White-blue stripes in the background of the upper part of the coat of arms are the elements (colors) of the flag of the Altai Republic, of which the Mayminsky district is an integral part [2] .
