Nelidovo Engineering Plant

The Nelidovo Peat Engineering Plant (NZTM) was built between 1961 and 1964 . On February 13, 1965, the plant was included in the number of existing enterprises. After commissioning, the plant becomes one of the country's leading enterprises for the production of peat machines. Plant production: Pneumatic milling peat picker (PPF-3). NZTM also manufactured and manufactures trailed equipment for the peat mining industry: RK-0A, MP-14 channel cleaners, MTP-81, MTP-84 stump eilers, caterpillar MTP-24 dump trailers and even a sledge-dump truck. Dozer dumps for tractors were manufactured and manufactured at the plant: DT-75 , DT-75B , T-100 , T-130 , T-170 . Snow-clearing equipment was produced, peat machines of the Nelidovo plant were exported to Poland , Finland ^[2] , Germany ^[3] , Czechoslovakia and Cuba .

In the early 90's, the enterprise became a structural unit of the LESMASH concern and was renamed the Nelidovo Machine Plant. After privatization in 1992, the plant turns into OJSC "Nelidovo Engineering Plant". From that moment on, wheeled vehicles became a new direction of the plant’s activity and the main type of products was the production of forestry vehicles ^[4] .
