Skyscrapers of Croatia

Zagreb is the first city in Croatia where a skyscraper was built. The first skyscraper was the 16-story Loevueva Tower, built on Ban Josip Jelacic Square - the central square of Zagreb . Construction continued from 1956 to 1959 . In 2007, a major overhaul of the building was carried out.

Currently, Zagreb has several commercial and many residential skyscrapers. Each of them is of great importance in the architectural ensemble of the city.
