Kombu
Ukaravu ( cann. ಉಕಾರವು ) is the letter of the Kannada alphabet, denotes a short rounded vowel of the back row of the upper lift , used at the beginning of a word, transmitted inside the word using the interline diacritic mark kombu ು. Kombu is written after the letter. In most languages associated with the Indian linguistic tradition, the vowel "y" is placed under a consonant letter, the vowel position after the letter is a characteristic feature of Dravidian languages.
