Jerome ( Italian: Girolamo ; died in 770 [2] or 787 [3] ) - bishop of Pavia , saint (memorial days - July 19 [3] and July 22 [4] ).

According to a few information, he served at the time of his appointment as bishop of Pavia and served as a priest in the church of . According to various sources, the bishopric was received in 737 [5] , replacing Bishop Pietro, or in 778 [3] .
He participated in the Lateran Council, at which the antipope Constantine II was convicted [2] .
He died in 770 [2] or 787 [3] . He was buried in the church of Santa Maria delle Pertice.
December 20, 1888 was canonized by Pope Leo XIII [6] .
