Content
Story
At the center of the plot is the former dancer from Las Vegas, Michel Simms, performed by Tony Award winner Sutton Foster , who works for her eccentric mother-in-law Fanny Flowers, also played by Tony winner Kelly Bishop [1] .

Criticism
The series received very positive reviews from television critics, in particular, who praised the performances of Sutton Foster and Kelly Bishop, the leading actresses of the show, as well as the screenwriting turns of Amy Sherman-Palladino [2] . After the stable ratings of the first ten episodes, on August 17, 2012, the series received an order for eight more episodes, which will be part of the first season [3] . In July 2013, the channel closed the series after one season [4] . Already after the closure of the series received the award of the Association of television critics [5] .
