Urban District Sredneuralsk - a municipality in the Sverdlovsk region of Russia , belongs to the Western administrative district .

The administrative center is the city of Sredneuralsk .

From the point of view of the administrative-territorial structure of the region , GO Sredneuralsk together with GO Verkhnyaya Pyshma is within the boundaries of the administrative-territorial unit of the city of Upper Pyshma . ^[3]

Geography

The district is located in the southwestern part of the Sverdlovsk region on the shores of Lake Iset , surrounded on three sides by the territory of the Verkhnyaya Pyshma city district , in the south it borders on the municipal formation “Yekaterinburg city” .

The Mulyanka River flows into the Lake Isetskoe along the southern part of the district ^[4] .

History

On November 23, 1995, following a local referendum, the municipal formation “Sredneuralsk City” was formed, which left the city administration of Verkhnyaya Pyshma .

From January 1, 2006, the municipality "Sredneuralsk City" was transformed into Sredneuralsk urban district . ^[5] ^[6]
