Geography
The district is located in the southwestern part of the Sverdlovsk region on the shores of Lake Iset , surrounded on three sides by the territory of the Verkhnyaya Pyshma city district , in the south it borders on the municipal formation “Yekaterinburg city” .
The Mulyanka River flows into the Lake Isetskoe along the southern part of the district [4] .
History
On November 23, 1995, following a local referendum, the municipal formation “Sredneuralsk City” was formed, which left the city administration of Verkhnyaya Pyshma .
From January 1, 2006, the municipality "Sredneuralsk City" was transformed into Sredneuralsk urban district . [5] [6]
