Biography

She was born on June 20, 1928 in the city of Vichuga, Ivanovo-Voznesenskaya province (now the Ivanovo region ), in a family of employees.

In 1951 she graduated from the Faculty of History of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov .

In 1951-1955, he was a senior researcher at the State Historical Museum ( Moscow ). While working at the museum, she graduated from the graduate school of Moscow State University, defending in 1955 a Ph.D.

1960-1964 - Junior Researcher, Institute of History, USSR Academy of Sciences.

1964-1965 - diplomatic officer of the USSR Mission to the United Nations Office at Geneva ( Switzerland ).

In 1965-1974 - the youngest, and then senior scientific associate, Institute of History (II USSR) of the USSR Academy of Sciences. At the same time in 1965-1968 - scientific secretary of the group for the publication of the Complete collection of Russian chronicles .

1974-1976 - scientific secretary of the Department of History of the USSR Academy of Sciences.

Since 1976 - senior and soon leading researcher of the USSR Academy of Sciences, Academy of Sciences of the USSR ( IRI RAS ).

Since 1985 - Doctor of Historical Sciences. Thesis: “Chronicle of north-eastern Russia at the end of the XIII - beginning of the XV century” [1] .

In 1986-1991 - scientific secretary of the Soviet-Polish commission of the History Department of the USSR Academy of Sciences.
