Zgar ( Ukrainian: Zgar ) - a river in Ukraine , flows through the territory of the Derazhnyansky and Letichevsky districts of the Khmelnytsky region , Litinsky , Zhmerynsky and Kalinovsky districts of the Vinnitsa region . The right tributary of the Southern Bug ( Black Sea basin ).

The length of the river is 95 km. The catchment area is 1,170 km 2 . Slope - 0.91 m / km. The valley is trapezoidal, 4 km wide, up to 30 m deep. The floodplain is bilateral, swampy in the upper reaches, 50-150 m wide, in some sections up to 2.5 km. The channel is weakly branched, with a width of 5-10 m to 40 m, a depth of 0.5-1.5 m, and in places up to 5 m. The flow is regulated by reservoirs and ponds. It is used for water supply, irrigation, fish farming.
It originates north of the village of Korichintsy . It flows mainly in the eastern direction, in the middle reaches it bends to the north and west. It flows into the Southern Bug east of the village of Mizyakov .
