Andre Cason (born January 20, 1969, Virginia Beach , Virginia , USA ) is an American athlete , sprinter , two-time world champion in the relay 4 × 100 meters (1991, 1993), silver medalist at the 1993 world championship in running 100 meters, the world champion in the indoor race at 60 meters (1991). In 1992-1998, he had a world record in the 60-meter race (6.41 s).

Cayson's peak sports career occurred in 1992-1993. In the spring of 1992, he set a world record for 60 meters in halls and was in good shape by the beginning of summer. However, in the qualifying competitions for the Olympic team, the United States was injured [1] and missed the rest of the season. [2] .
In 1993, Cason won the US Championship in the 100m race, and then won the silver medal at the World Championships with a personal record of 9.92 meters. In the 4 × 100 meters relay race, he, as part of the US team in the semifinals, repeated the world record (37.40 s ), and then won gold with a result of 37.48 s.
