Topterek settlement ( Uig. Topterek , Chinese control р 铁 热 克 镇 , Pinyin : Tuōpǔtiěrèkè zhèn ) is a settlement in the county of Zimunay of the Altai region of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of the PRC . Here is the county government.

History
In 1951, District No. 2 of the county Simunay was established in these places. In April 1962, the district was raised to the status of the village, and the county government moved here from the village of Simunay.

Topterek village consists of four communities:

- Jianshela Community (建设 路 社区)
- Tuanzelu Community (团结 路 社区)
- Renminlu Community (人民 路 社区)
Population
In 1997, 9 thousand people lived in the village of Topterek. 50.5% of the population of the village were Chinese , besides them, there are also Kazakhs , Uigurs , and Huizu .
