Salnikov, Alexander Nikolaevich

1970 - graduated from the N.G. Chernyshevsky Saratov State University , qualification - engineer-radiophysicist. He worked at the Lower Volga Research Institute of Geology and Geophysics (Saratov).

Since 1976, assistant professor, since 1982 - professor. In 1983, he founded and headed the department of Applied Physics. At the same time in 1993-1998. - Dean of the Research Center for Physics, Chemistry and Ecology.

In the 2000s the physical workshop of the department was significantly refitted, a multimedia laboratory was organized.

The main area of ​​research is the physics of the surface and surface layer of a solid. In 1976 he defended his thesis, in 1982 - a doctoral dissertation.

He prepared 5 candidates and 3 doctors of sciences for defense.

The author of 130 scientific publications, 4 monographs, 60 methodological works, 7 textbooks and 10 manuals.
