Machete Kills

Machete Cortez ( Danny Trejo ) and Sartan Rivera ( Jessica Alba ) are attempting to seize arms dealers that are supplied to Mexican drug cartels . All the military were killed by bandits, who, in turn, were destroyed by the other side. Her leader kills Sartana, while Machete is arrested by corrupt sheriff Dawkes ( William Sadler ). Dawkes unsuccessfully tries to hang Machete, but then US President Ratsocher ( Charlie Sheen ) intervenes. Machete is delivered to the White House , where the president offers him American citizenship if he eliminates Marcos Mendes ( Demian Bichir ), a psychopath who threatens to hit Washington with a nuclear missile if the US government does not intervene to stop the rampant drug cartels in Mexico and his government’s corruption.

Machete agrees and goes to San Antonio, where he meets his partner Blanca Vazquez ( Amber Heard ), under the guise of a beauty contestant. She sends him to Acapulco to meet with a young woman, Seresa ( Vanessa Hudgens ), who can bring him to Mendes. Machete finds her in a brothel run by her mother, Madame Desdemona ( Sofia Vergara ), who is trying to kill Machete before he escapes with Seresa. She takes him to Mendes’s partner, Saror ( Marco Saror ), who kills Seresa and then takes Machete to Mendes’s base.

There, Machete discovers that Mendes connected the rocket launcher to his heart and configured it to start within 24 hours. If he dies, the rocket will fire. After Machete kills Sarah, he also captures Mendes, intending to escort him to the United States and find a way to turn off the rocket. Machete discovers that Mendes is a former secret agent who tried to expose his corrupt bosses, but was betrayed and forced to watch his family be tortured. The trauma drove him crazy, creating his split personality and leading him to join forces with the creator of the rocket.

Shortly afterwards, Machete is targeted by Madame Desdemona and her killer prostitutes, including Chameleon ( Lady Gaga ) as well as Dawkes. Machete and Mendes manage to get to the United States and kill Dawks only in order to be caught by the reborn Saror and the same mercenaries who killed Sartana. Saror decapitates Mendes and shoots Machete.

Machete wakes up in a healing pool. He meets the man who resurrected Sarah - a corrupt official, inventor and fan of Star Wars Luther Woz ( Mel Gibson ). He shows Machete the still beating heart of Mendes, stored in the bank, and informs him of his plan to manipulate extremists around the world to detonate nuclear weapons, planning to escape on a spaceship to restore humanity in space. Machete then escapes with the help of Luz ( Michelle Rodriguez ), who heard of the attack on Machete. She tells him that the only one who can deactivate Mendez’s heart is Machete’s old enemy, Osiris Amanpur ( Tom Savini ). Machete contacts Vasquez, who instructs him to meet her at the meeting point.

When Machete arrives there, Vasquez betrays him, finding himself in collaboration with Woz. When she runs into the desert, Machete chases after her and jumps onto the roof of her car, but falls after a shot comes through the roof.

Then Machete drives a Chameleon, who has taken possession of that van before, and tries to kill him for the last time. He makes Machete dig a grave for himself, but he, having unearthed a secret tunnel of Mexican migrants , escapes. A chameleon, chasing him through the tunnel, is killed by racists at the exit of the American border.

Machete then reunites with Luz and her Network group. They infiltrate the base of Woz, where Woz kills Osiris. Machete understands that it was Woz who killed Sartana and is fighting him. He severely burned Woz's face, mutilating it to such an extent that Woz was forced to wear a silver mask. Meanwhile, Vazquez shoots Luz in her only eye, completely blinding her. Luz kills Vazquez, but Voz immediately captures her, freezes in carbonite and takes her aboard.

Machete climbs onto a targeted missile, but it starts. At the same time, Boz rises to the ship and leaves with the clones of Sarah, supporters, as well as Luz. Machete flies, but he manages to deactivate the rocket and it is splashed in the Rio Grande . Immediately, the president’s guard runs up with President Krysokher himself, who asks him to follow Woz on the SpaceX rocket into space and kill him. Machete agrees and uses the Falcon 9 rocket to travel to the Voz station in Earth orbit, where he receives a laser machete to begin his mission.

The film received generally negative reviews from film critics, on the Rotten Tomatoes website the film has a rating of 29%, based on 118 reviews from critics, with an average rating of 4.5 out of 10 ^[22] , a rating of 6.0 from users of the IMDb site ^[5] .

On the Metacritic website , the movie has 41 points out of 100, based on 33 reviews. ^[23]
