KAMAZ Football Club
Football in Naberezhnye Chelny dates back to the distant 1920s . It was played mainly in a pine forest glade in the old part of the city. Unfortunately, this field has long gone under the water of the Nizhnekamsk reservoir. But football really took root in connection with the start of construction of the KAMAZ automobile plant - in 1973 , when the construction on Kama unfolded so widely that the builders, in addition to working at the facilities, needed to create a football team. This year, the team “ Turbine ” appeared in Naberezhnye Chelny, which subsequently happened to defend the honor of the city in the country's championships. Since 1977 , the team KamGESenergostroy for eleven seasons played in the second league championship of the USSR. She was not particularly successful. At the same time as the HES team, the teams of KAMAZ plants were also organized. Championships of the city and the automobile plant were held [1] .
On November 11, 1981, the Trud-PRZ team was founded at the KAMAZ press-and-frame factory (since 1988 the team was renamed Torpedo, and since 1990 it has been KAMAZ.
From 1993 to 1997, the club played in the Major League Championship of Russia . In 1997, due to lack of funding, the football club had to leave the major league, and the next year - the first league.
In 2003, KAMAZ won the zonal championship of the second division and in 2004 - 2012 played in the first division (FNL) , constantly aspiring to enter the Premier League.
As of 2018, KAMAZ FC is playing in the second division (PFL Championship), the Ural-Volga Region group.
KAMAZ-2 Football Club
Farm club of the main KAMAZ team. It was founded in 1993 . The best achievement in the championship of Russia - 17th place in the 6th zone of the second league in 1993.
Chelny Hockey Club
The club was founded on August 8, 2004 . In 2004 - 2011 the team played in the championship of Russia among the teams of the First League of the Volga zone. In the season 2011 - 2012 the team is admitted to the newly created Russian Hockey League [2] (West Division). According to the results of the regular season, the team took 11th place in the West division. On June 25, 2012, the club management announced its intention to join the MHL [3] . On July 27, 2012, Chelny HC was accepted as a member of the MHL Championship [4] .
Dynamo Volleyball Club
For several years, he played in the Premier League B - the Russian Volleyball Championship among men's teams. Since 2012, due to financial difficulties, the club was forced to continue playing in the First League of the Russian Championship.
KAMAZ-Master
The rally-raid team associated with the KAMAZ automobile plant. The KAMAZ-master crews became the winners of the Dakar rally 11 times (formerly Paris - Dakar ). The team consists of 5 World Cup winners, 8 world-class sports masters. KAMAZ-Master is recognized as one of the strongest teams in world motorsport in the class of sports trucks. Saturn Football Club
The team was formed on September 20, 2001 at the initiative of the General Director of Saturn LLC Ravil Fairuzov. The club played in the championships of the city, the Republic of Tatarstan, the championship of the IFS "Volga" , in the second division of the Championship of Russia [6] .
KAMAZAutocenter Football Club
The club, which existed from 1990 to 1995. In the first season he performed under the name “KATS-Skif”. KAMAZ Women's Football Club
The club was established in September 1992 with the support of the management of the KamAZ plant. Saturn Motorbike Club
Motoball in Naberezhnye Chelny has more than 30 years of history. In the late 1970s, the first and only motor-sick team in the Republic of Tatarstan , the Domostroitel, appeared in the city. Later, a track was built for the team behind the bus station in the village of ZYAB. In 1989, the motor-sickness team of Naberezhnye Chelny became the champion of the first league of the union championship, in 1996 - the champion of Russia. In the early 2000s, the club changed its name to Saturn. However, in the future, due to insufficient funding, the club was forced to cease to exist [7] .

KAMAZ
The stadium is used for football matches of the KAMAZ football club . The stadium was built in 1977 . The first official match was held on August 23, 1988 with the club Metallurg (Magnitogorsk) . The match was attended by 5500 spectators. Throughout its history, the stadium has undergone two renovations. In 1996, a heated field appeared; in 2003, plastic seats were installed on all stands, as well as updated lighting and an electronic display [8] . In 2015, a large-scale reconstruction of the stadium was carried out with the complete demolition of all the existing stands and the construction of new ones from the easily constructed metal structures in their place, with a total capacity of 6,248 spectators. A new three-story administrative building was also erected, two public toilets were built, lighting and a display in the stadium were replaced, and a video surveillance system was installed.
Builder
The only stadium in the old part of town. Opened in 1979 . Includes a soccer field with a natural surface, treadmills, two stands with 9120 seats. Also at the stadium are equipped with specialized halls for boxing, aerobics. In 2001 to 2006, it was the home stadium of the Saturn football club . Today, the stadium is a traditional venue for city holidays, such as Victory Day, Sabantuy , Builder 's Day. Sports Palace
The first indoor Ice Palace in the city, was opened on September 1, 2005 and is a multi-purpose building - in addition to the main hockey court, changing rooms for guests and hosts, a health and recreation center, there is also a 109 square meter choreographic hall and 87 acrobatic hall in the Palace , 6 square meters and a gym with a total area of 105 square meters [10] . It is the home arena of the Chelny hockey club .
Sports and fitness complex "United Russia"
An air-supported sports facility with artificial ice, opened in 2007 in the village of Zyab (29A Nizametdinova Street, next to the Coliseum Club). It includes an ice rink, stands for 200 seats, a gym, an aerobics room, a rehabilitation center [11] .

The largest indoor sports complex in Naberezhnye Chelny. Located in the village of hydroelectric power station. Vityaz
The sports complex was built by the "House-Building Plant" of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny in 1977 . Located in the village of ZYAB. Dulkyn
The pool was built by the House-Building Plant in Naberezhnye Chelny in 1983 . Located in the village of ZYAB.
