Samoilova-Ledogorova, Galina Alekseevna

In 1985 she graduated from GITIS . Lunacharsky (workshop of Irina Sudakova and Lidia Knyazeva ). She worked at the Moscow Theater. Pushkin. Among her works are roles in the performances: “Scream” by Merezhko, “Eurydice” Anuya, “People’s Malachy” Kulish and others. She has acted in films since 1983, she has played the main roles in the melodrama “Grooms” and the lyrical comedy “Next to You”.

In April 1995, she, together with her husband, actor Vadim Ledogorov and her son Nikita, moved to New Zealand . Here the couple had a second son, Alexander. In New Zealand, Galina continues to devote most of her time to raising children. But she does not part with her professional activities. In Auckland, she opened a center for the preservation of the Russian language and the development of creative abilities - the Russian Youth Cultural Center, at which the Children's Theater "Fantazery" and the literary and drama studio of the Ledogorovs work.

From 1997 to 2010, Galina Samoilova-Ledogorova took part in the programs of the literary theater on the radio "Yaroslavna".

In 2008, she organized the Days of Russian Cinema in Auckland.

Since 2010, he has been publishing the Russian cultural newsletter Rodnik.
