Biography

James Edward Tierney Aichison was born in India on October 28, 1836 .

In 1858, he received his MD from Edinburgh University , and then entered the Bengal Medical Service . He collected plants in India from 1861 to 1872 , in Afghanistan from 1879 to 1885 , and also in Ireland in 1867 - 1869 . In 1883 he became a member of the Royal Society of London [5] .

James Edward Tierney Achison died on September 30, 1898 in London [6] .
