Muhammad Zagitovich Rakhimov (born March 18, 1956 , S. Sretenka, Frunze region [1] ) is a mufti , chairman of the Russian Association of Islamic Consent (All-Russian Muftiate), a mufti of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Stavropol Territory.

Biography
He graduated from school in 1972 in the city of Teberda . In 1974-1976 served in the Strategic Missile Forces ( Zagorsk ).
In 1982-1986 studied at the Circassian Construction Institute (specialty "civil engineer"). In 1983 he entered the Bukhara Theological School "Miri-Arab" ( Bukhara ), which he graduated in 1988. Since 1990 - senior imam of the Ust-Dzhegutinsky district of Karachay-Cherkessia. Since 2006, he headed the cathedral mosque of Pyatigorsk .
On April 27, 2010, he was elected chairman of the newly created Centralized Religious Organization "Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Stavropol Territory", the Mufti of the Stavropol Territory. M. Rakhimov became the first mufti of the Stavropol Territory; the spiritual administration headed by him united 52 officially registered communities of the Territory. Carries out work on the construction and restoration of mosques in the Stavropol Territory; pays special attention to improving the skills of imams of the Stavropol Territory.
December 8, 2010 was elected chairman of the Centralized Religious Organization "Russian Association of Islamic Concord (All-Russian Muftiyat)" [2] , Mufti of Stavropol.
