Alexandra "Ellie" MacDonald was born on September 17, 1988 in Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia, Canada. She made her debut in cinema in 1998. She played in the Broadway musical " Annie " in Halifax [2] . In 2012, she played in the film “The House at the End of the Street ”. In 2014, she played a major role in the movie “Stage Fear” [3] .
In 2018, for her role in the TV series "Cardinal" won the award " Canadian Screen Awards "In the category" Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series " [4] .
