Kronprinsessegade

Kronprinsessegade ( d. Kronprinsessegade ) is a street in the central part of Copenhagen , named after the crown princess Maria Sofia . The street appeared during the reconstruction of Copenhagen after a major fire in 1795, which destroyed most of the city. Most of the houses, mostly built in the style of European classicism, appeared on the street during the first few decades after the fire. Kronrinsesegade departs from Gothersgade Street, and passing along the eastern border of the Royal Garden , it goes further south to the East Railway Station. The main attraction of Kronprinsessegade Street is the LK David Museum located on it, the exhibition of which consists of works of Islamic art , as well as paintings of the Golden Age of Denmark and a small collection of modern art.
