IFF Football Center

The football center of the Mongolian Football Federation ( Mong. МХХ Хөлбөмбөгиййн төв , Eng. MFF Football Center ) is a football stadium located in Ulaanbaatar , the capital of Mongolia . Content

History

During the Mongolian People's Republic on the territory of the modern IFF Football Center, there was a half-hill with a tribune and grass, which was used to hold the Naadams . For football matches, the Central Stadium located in the immediate vicinity was used.

The new IFF stadium was opened on October 24, 2002 . On March 15, 2011, the teams of the Philippines and Mongolia met here in the qualifying round of the AFC Challenge Cup 2012 , as a result of the meeting, the Mongols won with a score of 2: 1. In 2011, the national teams of Mongolia and Myanmar played here in the qualifying round of the 2014 World Cup and Mongolia won 1-0.
