Career
Pakhrudin Gimbatov began his professional career in 2006 as part of his native St. Petersburg SKA , playing before for his farm club. Nevertheless, having spent only one match in the main team of the “army”, Pakhrudin went to the Premier League , where he played in the Spartak St. Petersburg, as well as in the Titan near Moscow. In the next two seasons, Gimbatov was a player of the Captain of Stupina , as well as of the Serov Metallurgist , after which, in 2009, he returned to Titan. It was at this time that he established himself as a tough guy , having scored 115 penalty minutes in 38 matches.
Before the start of the VHL debut season, Pakhrudin signed a contract with the Angarsk “ Ermak ”, again having noted effective statistics on penalty minutes. However, already in the next season, Gimbatov, in addition to the 163 minutes of the penalty, managed to record 33 (20 + 13) scoring points in 60 matches, becoming one of the team’s top scorers. In the summer of 2012, at the invitation of the new head coach of Cherepovets Severstal Andrei Nazarov, Pakhrudin went to see the steelworkers [1] .
In his first bilateral matches in the new club, Gimbatov was noted not only by abandoned goals, but also by fights with teammates Evgeni Mons and Nikolai Stasenko [2] [3] . Then, at the Donbass Cup, Pakhrudin had a fight with Evgeny Artyukhin [4] , after which, just before the start of the season, the Cherepovets club management decided to leave Gimbatov on the team [5] .
On September 8, 2012, in a match against Ufa 's Salavat Yulaev , Pakhrudin made his debut in the Continental Hockey League , having spent a little more than 8 minutes on the court.
