Vladimir Andreevich Beketov (born March 29, 1949, Derzhavny farm, Uspensky district , Krasnodar Territory , RSFSR, USSR) is a member of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation from the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnodar Territory. Hero of Labor Kuban .

Biography
Born on March 29, 1949 on the Derzhavny farm of the Assumption district of the Krasnodar Territory . In 1966 he graduated from high school number 4 of the village of Konokovo . After school, he studied at the State Technical University No. 9 [1] of the city of Tuapse , then worked in the Novorossiysk Shipping Company and was soon drafted into the army. After serving in the army he continued his labor activity in one of the collective farms of the Uspensky district. He was the secretary of the Komsomol committee, then - the secretary of the party organization of the collective farm; subsequently served as head of the agricultural department of the Assumption District Committee of the CPSU and instructor of the Krasnodar Regional Committee of the CPSU [2] .
Since September 1980, he worked as chairman of the Uspensky district executive committee; in December 1991, he was appointed head of the administration of the Uspensky district. At the end of 1994, he was elected to the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnodar Territory of the first convocation. In 1995, he was appointed first deputy head of administration of the Krasnodar Territory, who was involved in the development of the agro-industrial complex, while remaining a deputy of the regional parliament. From December 1995 to September 2017, he chaired the Legislative Assembly for five convocations.
From 1996 to 2001, he was a member of the Federation Council. In 2011-2012, he was chairman of the South Russian Parliamentary Association.
On September 28, 2017 he was elected a member of the Federation Council from the Krasnodar Territory - a representative of the Legislative Assembly [3]
