Zeran ( Persian. زازران ) is a small town in central Iran , in the province of Isfahan . Part of Shahrestan Felaverdzhan . According to the census, in 2006 the population was 7,670 people [1] .

Geography
The city is located in the southwestern part of Isfahan, in the mountainous terrain of eastern Zagros , at an altitude of 1,606 meters above sea level [2] . Zazeran is located approximately 9 kilometers west of Isfahan , the provincial capital, and 335 kilometers south of Tehran , the capital of the country. The nearest civil airport located in the city of Isfahan [2] .
