History
Launched at the Kristiansands Mekaniske Verksted shipyard in Kristiansand in Norway, ship number 221 was the factory name of Cord Adeler , but at the baptism ceremony in 1974 he was named Duke of Yorkshire and transferred to A / S on June 6, 1974. Larvik-Frederikshavnferjen from Norwegian Larvik . For many years, the ship was chartered to work on ferry lines in the Netherlands and Canada. In the fall of 1997, the vessel under the Bahamian flag and under the name Marine Evangeline was hired by the Estonian company Tallink for its new Paldiski line - Kapelsher (sv. Kapellskär).
