Achkasov (Ochkasov) - an old Russian noble family . In the old days were written Ochkasovy. The ancestor of them, according to the data that has reached the present day, can be considered Timofey Ochkasov , who was the palace clerk at the Grand Duke Vasily Dmitrievich and wrote a spiritual diploma of the sovereign in 1425. The grandsons of Timothy, Prokofy and Leo, received from John the Great several villages, written off from the Novgorod archbishop, in Votskaya Pyatina, in the Mikhailovsky pogost. Bad Ochkasov was sent to Kazan with the boyar, Prince Telyatevsky, in 1532 and was killed there by the Kazan citizens. One of the Ochkasovyhs, Nevezha Ochkasov , was a voivod in Tetyushi in 1583. In the 17th century, the Achkasovs served in the capitals; two of them, Ivan and Mikhail Vasilyevich, were the attendants of Queen Praskovya Fedorovna, the two, Ivan Vasilyevich and Ivan Ivanovich, were the attendants of Peter I; the four Achkasovs owned populated estates in 1699. The origin and history of the genus
According to the chronicle testimonies, the history of the noble family of the Oryol branch of this family dates back to the beginning of the 17th century .
According to the apocryphal information of the pedigree of the legend, however, having no evidence, the Orlov family of Achkasovs comes from Erofei Filippovich Ochkasov [2]
The Kursk branch, by its ancestor Larion Yerofeyevich Ochkasov , was recorded by the boyars son , served (1697) as reitar in Kursk, arrived from Mtsensk (about 1688), [3] “lands behind him in Podgorodnoy camp, Gridino village” [4 ] In Mtsensk, he joined the City sotnite service (1666) on the Lesser Town Camp, and later on the Belgorod service line [5] “In the service as a reiter for feats of arms and service for him 400 rubles, money for 17 rubles, and estates for him Mtsensk 30 quarters " [6] .
His son, Andrei Larionovich (r / p 1664) of the reiter service, lives with his wife Tatiana in Mtsensk, and later they move to Kurschina and lose contact with Oryol Ochkasov (after 1688) [7] . Their joint children Yefimya (p. 1719), Evdokim (p. 1713), Anna (p. 1711), Athanasius (p. 1693/7) - “entered into a per capita salary and were recorded in a single rank ” [8] , [9]
The only branch of the family from Athanasius Andreyevich Achkasov has a studied generation painting to our days and descendants : he marries the daughter of the landowner Mtsensk Theodosia Semenovna Mertsalova , their son Alexander (b. 1732) serves as a dragon in the rank of corporal , fighting valiantly in the "Seven Years war . The joint children of Alexander with Paraskeva Petrovna Altukhova [10] , [11] - Ivan (p. 1751) and Vladimir (p. 1761) remain in the one- page salary and are engaged in the development of the grandfather's family estate, Nizhnyaya Gridina, near the village of Nemcha identity [12] in the Kursk province.
