Dam view from the air
Grevelingendam ( Dutch: Grevelingendam ) - a dam in the Netherlands between the islands of Schauven-Döyweland ( Zealand ) and Gure-Overflakke ( South Holland ). Built in 1958-1965 as part of the Delta project . It has a length of 6 km.
During the construction of the dam, a new technology was used: stone delivery by cable car .
