Biography

Born May 8, 1934 in the city of Krivoy Rog .

In 1959 she graduated from the Kryvyi Rih Mining Institute with a degree in geology.

After graduating from the institute from 1959 to 1965, she worked as a geological engineer of the complex geological exploration expedition of the Krasnoyarsk Geological Administration, then as head of the party of the Sterlitamak geological prospecting office of the Bashneft association (1966-1975). Since 1975, he has been working at the Institute of Geology, Ufa Scientific Center, Russian Academy of Sciences.

Scientific Activities

Kazantseva's area of interest is geotectonics, geology. She managed to justify the origin of the allochthonous hyperbasite massifs in the Urals, to prove the polycyclicity of the Urals in the Paleozoic.

He is the author of a new scientific direction - “Structural factor in theoretical geology”. The methodology proposed by her made it possible to restore the genesis of the most important processes of the formation of the earth's crust based on the study of different rank geological matter.

Of the priority scientific problems solved by Kazantseva is the discovery of the laws of geological development:

  • the law of energy security of the main geological processes by tectonic forces;
  • the law of consistency of the evolutionary orientation of geological matter with the direction of the sign of the tectonic regime;
  • the law of conformity of the composition of natural units of intensity of the tectonic regime;
  • the law of paragenetic compensation in geological systems and others.

Kazantseva became the author of a new general geological doctrine - a joint-thrust theory of the formation of the earth's crust.

In 1985 she defended her doctoral dissertation. In 1991, she was elected an academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
