In addition, as of 2017, 4 sites in Malaysia are among the candidates for inclusion in the World Heritage List [1] . Malaysia ratified the Convention for the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage on December 7, 1988 [1] . The first two facilities located in Malaysia were listed in 2000 .
