Biography
In 1959 he graduated from the theological faculty of the University of Athens . He was ordained deacon and presbyter by the Metropolitan of Chisostom of Messina (Daskalakis) . He served as a preacher in the Metropolitan Messina and Secretary of the Synodal Representation.
March 1, 1980 was consecrated bishop with the elevation to the rank of Metropolitan Nikopolsky and Prevezsky.
He took part as a representative of the Greek Orthodox Church in the Inter-Orthodox Preparatory Commission for the next Pan-Orthodox Pre-Council meeting on December 11-16, 2009.
Author of church works: “V Ecumenical Council” - the publication was awarded by the Athenian Academy of Sciences, “The Inscription of the Antichrist in the Orthodox Tradition”.
