Biography

The machine-gun company of the 615th rifle regiment, commanded by senior lieutenant Alexei Vyushkov, in April 1945 during the Moravian-Ostrava operation, covered the rifle subunits with fire, and contributed to the capture of a number of settlements. On April 19, near the railway station Olza, under enemy fire, was the first to cross the Oder River and capture the bridgehead . In the battles for him reflected 4 counter-attacks of the enemy.

Originally buried in s. Aspens of the Silesian Voivodeship of the Republic of Poland . Later reburied in the cemetery of Soviet and Czech soldiers in the Polish city of Wodzislaw Slaski .
