Life and career
Amanda Detmer was born and raised in Contra-Costa, California and studied at the University of California , and then received a bachelor of arts degree from New York University [1] . After she began her career as an actress, and in 1995 she made her debut in the television movie “Stolen Innocence”, and then appeared in the movie “ Deadly Beauty ” [1] .
Detmer has appeared in dozens of films and television shows throughout her career. On television, she appeared in three short-lived sitcoms: “Assistant United States Attorney” in 2003, “What About Brian” in 2006–2007, and “Be a Man” in 2011. She also had minor roles in the private practice and necessary cruelty series. On the big screen, she had prominent roles in the films Destination , Boys and Girls, Bitch , Majestic and Big Fat Liar .
