Zodsky Pass [1] ( Sotksky Pass [2] ) - a mountain pass in Transcaucasia , on the border of Armenia and Azerbaijan (the pass is controlled by the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic ), on the East Sevan Range . The pass is located on the most important transport route Sotk - Kelbajar , which is the shortest and most convenient route towards the Martakert and Shaumyan districts of the NKR. Currently, the condition of the road is in a deplorable position, however, by the end of 2013 it is planned to complete the construction and repair of this transport route. [2]
