RD Group is an international development group of companies. The headquarters of the company is located in Moscow .
History
The company was founded in 1994 . The first project of RD Group was the reconstruction of one of the administrative buildings of Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov , which was built in the 1890s in Romanov Lane . The reconstruction of the building was completed in 1996 and from that moment functions as the Romanov Dvor business center. [1] The project was implemented by the RD Group subsidiary, RD Construction Management [2] The building is operated by another subsidiary, RD Management. In 2005, the company completed the reconstruction of the Rector’s House [3] in Moscow at ul. Tverskaya, 5a. The building is a mansion of the 18th century, which was the city estate of the Volkonsky princes. Subsequently, the building was transferred to MV Lomonosov Moscow State University, where the office of the rector of the University, as well as the faculty, was located. Hence the name "Rector's House". Later, the editorial office of the Telescope magazine , which printed the first Philosophical Letter of Peter Chaadayev, was located here . Vissarion Belinsky and Nikolai Nadezhdin lived in this house.
Since 2006, Luxembourg has been operating the European representative office of the group of companies - RD Group SA, which is headed by Vsevolod Yampolsky.
In 2008, RD Group completed the construction of the second building of the Romanov Dvor business center - Romanov Dvor II. In the same year, the Romanov Property Holdings Fund, a private equity fund, was established, which invests in Class A commercial real estate projects. In 2009, Luxembourg completed the construction of an elite residential complex Val Des Roses (Valley of Roses). In 2011, the RD Group portfolio included the Dream House [4] shopping center in Barvikha . In 2012, the RD Group included the design and management company BJ (Aurora Group and BDGworkfutures Russia & CIS) [5] , which was renamed RD Studio. In the same year, RD Group acquired 40% of the Vremena Goda shopping center [6] on Kutuzovsky Prospekt.
RD Group took part in the restoration of the People’s Observatory [7] in TsPKiO im. Gorky , which was open to visitors on September 27, 2012. At the company's expense, a Celestron CGE PRO 1400HD mirror-lens telescope weighing 110 kg was purchased [8] .

Activities
Through subsidiaries, RD Group carries out a full development cycle: investments, design and construction, fit-out [9] , operation [10] . The main area is office and retail real estate. The largest projects are the reconstruction of the Arktika Hotel in Murmansk, [11] , the restoration of the Rector’s House, and the operation of iconic Moscow business centers.
