Bölke, Helmut

Helmut Bölke ( German: Hellmuth Böhlke ; February 7, 1893 - April 8, 1956 ) - German military commander, Lieutenant General of the Wehrmacht , commander of the 334th Infantry Division during World War II . Knight of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves , the highest order of the Third Reich . Captured by British troops in April 1945 . He was released from captivity in 1947 .
