Nikolai Alekseevich Romansky (1861 - after 1917) - teacher , priest, historian , author of about 50 scientific works on church history and the history of Moscow.

Born in 1861 in Gatchina of the St. Petersburg province in the family of Archpriest of the Guard. The godmother was Maria Alexandrovna (Empress) .
He graduated from the Smolensk Theological Seminary and the St. Petersburg Theological Academy (1886).
In 1886-1902 he served as head of the Moscow Theological Consistory , in 1887-1889 as a teacher of literature at the school at the Pokrovskaya community, in 1889-1893 as a teacher of history at the Filaret diocesan female school . In addition, in 1892-1893 he was an inspector of this school.
In 1892 he was ordained to the church of Saints Cosmas and Damian on Maroseyka . In 1892-1901 he was chairman of the Elizabethan Committee at this church.
In the years 1901-1910 he served in the Holy Cross Exaltation Church of the Alekseevsky Convent .
In 1910 he was transferred to the Trinity Church on the Arbat and became a candidate member of the clergy to the Moscow Provincial Zemstvo Assembly .
In 1915 he was sent to the 132nd Bender Infantry Regiment.
He was a member of a number of scientific societies. The author of about 50 scientific papers on church history and the history of Moscow.
He died after 1917.
