Journeyman is the eleventh blues-rock studio album by musician Eric Clapton , released in 1989.

About the album

Journeyman marks the release of Clapton from the alcohol addiction that the musician suffered in the mid-80s. The album mainly sounds in the spirit of electronic rock of the 80s and classical blues. The song “Bad Love” reached number 1 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and brought the performer a Grammy Award in the category “Best Male Vocal Rock Performance”. ^[1] Pretending also reached 1 place, which lasted 5 weeks (Bad Love - 3 weeks). Although Journeyman was a modest commercial success in his release, he ended up becoming Clapton's first 2 × platinum album. Journeyman is also one of Eric's favorite albums. ^[2]
