Habeas date

Habeas date ( lat. Habeas data , literally “you have information”) is the constitutional principle of a number of states that provides for the right of a citizen to judicially demand access to any documents relating to him stored in archives and institutions, including special services . Also the name of the relevant court order. This principle is relatively new and was first introduced in the Brazilian constitution of 1988 . The name is given by analogy with the principle of habeas corpus [1] .
