Biography

Mikhail Makovsky and his twin brother Vladimir began to play football in Molodechno, where Anatoly Beresnev was their mentor in the local youth sports school. At the age of 16, the players were in the club "Electromodul", who took part in the championship of the third division of Belarus. Once the game of this team was visited by the future coach of the national team of Belarus Sergey Borovsky , who was then coaching another club from Molodechno - Metallurg. Already in the next season, the Makovsky brothers defended the colors of Metallurg, who played in the Premier League and set himself much more serious tasks than their previous team. The guys spent two years in this club, after which they were invited to join Dynamo Minsk .

Then the brothers went to Dynamo Kyiv . In 1999, the ways of the Makovsky brothers parted for the first time - Mikhail went to the Vorskla Poltava, and Vladimir went to the Baltika Kaliningrad. However, pretty quickly the twins were back together - Vladimir was invited, with the patronage of his brother, to join the Poltava team.

Then he played for CSKA Kiev , Transcarpathia , Dynamo Minsk , Inter Baku , Azerbaijan , Darida , Gorodeya . In 2012 - at FC Smorgon .

During the Euromaidan was in Kiev. Makovsky was negative about Euromaidan and supported the annexation of Crimea to Russia [1] .

In 2014, he entered the coaching staff of the Isloch club. In January 2017, he left the team [2] .

In August 2017, he became the head coach of the Neman-Agro first league club. [3] . “Neman-Agro” in 2017 in the first league took the last place with the backlog of FC “Osipovichi” 12 points with the difference of goals scored and goals conceded 27-94.

On February 16, 2018, he headed Molodechno [4] , but after 3 he was fired when he came to a meeting with fans and the press drunk [5] .
