Kepulauan Anambas ( indon. Kepulauan Anambas ) is a county in the Indonesian province of Kepulauan Riau . Separated from Natun County in 2008.

The district is located on the eponymous archipelago . The county has vast reserves of natural gas that is exported to Singapore and Malaysia . Matak Island is the base for finding oil fields.
The largest island in the county, Pulau Bawah ( indon. Pulau Bawah ), is a lagoon with clear water and corals. In the depths of the island is a waterfall. Wrecks became the habitat of marine plants and animals, which created interesting places for scuba diving [1] .
